Lips sealed
With so much to say
A heart is crying out
But there’s no one to hear
Fighting to Escape the Adversities of Reality
A mind is captured by fear
This battle runs as deep as the ocean
And the eyes pretend not to see
A heart is being torn
Between every emotion
The ears pretend not to hear
A body has been betrayed by its own parts
Trying to regain whatever hope is left
It seems a losing battle for this heart is hardly at rest
If only the lips had the courage to open
And ever be lifted so slightly
If they’d simply separate a voice could be heard
And pain driven out through words
Conflict resolved through confrontation
Emotions expressed through the face’s translation
If only the mind could surrender its fears
The heart could be obeyed
Lips open, eyes see, ears hear before it’s too late
The heart is being torn between every emotion
Because they have no face to put them on display
They have no voice to speak what they have to say
Because of fear the mind has sealed the heart’s fate
For expressing emotions was never meant to be a debate
